Jesuit Presents the 2025 Archdiocesan Men’s Conference

Jesuit is proud to serve as the presenting sponsor of the Archdiocese’s 2025 Men’s Conference, “I Trust in You,” on Saturday, March 15 at St. Dominic Church in New Orleans. Registration is now open for an event that promises to deepen the lifelong mission of forming men of faith and men for others—a mission that lies at the heart of Jesuit.
In a recent conversation with Chris O’Neill, director of the Office of Marriage and Family Life for the archdiocese, Jesuit President Fr. John Brown, S.J., explained how 2025 Men’s Conference fits into Jesuit’s pursuit of its mission.
“Every morning, whenever I wake up, I think about the mission of Jesuit,” Fr. Brown shared. “We’re here to form men of faith and men for others.” His words underscore the school’s educational commitment that extends well beyond the four or five years students spend on Banks Street—a commitment meant to nurture integrity, spiritual growth, and a purposeful life in every facet of adulthood.
For alumni, fathers, grandfathers, and friends, this conference is an outstanding way for Blue Jay men to participate in an experience aligned with the formation that Jesuit has delivered for generations.
“We’re really grateful for the support of Jesuit,” said O’Neill, signaling his enthusiasm for the partnership. “Jesuit jumped in right away with both feet… this is a huge help.”
Fr. Brown noted, “This isn’t just something extra or new for us. This is really a center of what we do.” He stressed that the challenges of contemporary life—from the pressures of competition to the crisis of meaning—call for deliberate spiritual exercises and a community that supports one another. “The cross is a fruitful tree,” Fr. Brown observed.
The conference theme, “I Trust in You,” invites men to explore the depth of trust in God, the Church, and one another. Fr. Brown emphasized that while the world often reduces our identity to fleeting achievements or shallow markers, true identity is discovered in Christ and the imitation of the saints. “Our Blessed Mother loves us the best. Don’t let her down,” he urged, a candid call to pursue excellence and authenticity in every area of life.
By partnering with the Archdiocese’s Men’s Conference, Jesuit reaffirms its commitment to formation “through all the days of life.” For alumni, Jesuit fathers, benefactors, and friends, the event offers a unique opportunity to reconnect with the formation that students have always received at Jesuit.
