Third Quarter Exam Schedule
- Today’s exams Math, Latin, and AP Computer Science. Tomorrow’s exams are Social Studies, French, Greek, and Spanish.
- Students should not be in the hallways during the exam period or between exam periods. Once you complete your exam you should exit the hallways quietly. You may remain in the Commons, Resource Center, or the yard during this time.
- Upon arrival at campus, students are required to place their cellphones in the off mode in their lockers. No phones may be used anywhere on campus until both exam periods are over. Students may not leave campus until they have completed exams for the day. PH will be held in Room 231 on Thursday; it will begin at 9am and will continue as long as is necessary for justice to be served.
- Wednesday is the last day to bring Mardi Gras beads to be donated to St. Michael School. Drop off beads at the front desk or outside the library.
- Sophomores and juniors who received invited to Wednesday’s leadership meeting should turn those in by tomorrow morning. Student who wish to attend the meeting but did not receive an invite should reach out to Mr. Orillion via email by tomorrow morning.
Results:
- The Junior Varsity baseball team won three games and lost none during pre-exam week. On Monday, the BlueJayVees rallied from behind to defeat the Rummel 5-4. Harrison Serio singled in the go ahead run in the bottom of the 6th inning. Logan Nelson shut down Rummel’s bats, pitching 4 innings in relief, allowing only 1 run, and striking out 4 batters. Jason Fibble had 2 hits including an RBI triple.
- Then, on Tuesday, the BlueJayVees jumped to an early lead and beat the Raiders 4-1. Julian Alvarado was the winning pitcher. He pitched 3 innings, allowed no runs, and struck out 5 batters. Noah Casey earned the save by pitching 3 and two-thirds innings, allowing no runs. Jason Fibble led the offensive attack with 2 hits including a double.
- Finally, on Thursday, the BlueJayVees prepared for their exams by defeating Belle Chasse 12-0. Cole McMyne and Declan Albro combined to pitch a one-hit shutout of the Cardinals. Offensively, Marcellus Savoie, Calvin Magee, Noah Casey, and Mani Vandenweghe, each of whom had two RBIs, led the BlueJayVee attack.
