  • On Saturday, March 15, the chess team participated in the USCF New Orleans Scholastic Tournament at St. Augustine High School, delivering an outstanding performance. The team secured first place overall, with freshman Arav Kamboj leading the way, earning an impressive second-place finish. Freshman Austin Janusa and prefreshman Kristofferson Mercadel also had strong showings, both ranking in the top five. Aidan Thomas and Yousef Fallaha put up commendable performances as well helping the team advance into first place.

  • Last week the Jesuit tennis team defeated Ben Franklin 8-0, Newman 7-1, and St. Thomas More 8-3. Senior Jake Bravo, won his singles line 1 match 8-2, and doubles line 2 with senior Andrew Cavallino 8-2. Leo Congeni and Scott Harper both seniors won doubles line 1 8-1.
