Regular Order, Day 3
- Jesuit is sponsoring a blood drive on Thursday, April 10, in the Commons. Students must be at least 16 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. You can sign up in homeroom or with Mrs. Tassin in Room 317. Please sign up by tomorrow.
- T-Shirts for Carrollton clash are now available for purchase. Find the link on the canvas homepage and the Jesuit student life Instagram. Make sure to get the Blue Shirt.
- Registration is now open for additions to intramural basketball teams. The trade deadline and registration deadline is tomorrow at 8am. Players may be added or be traded to teams of any grade.
- March printing fees have been sent to students’ Outlook accounts and student portals. Please pay these fees in Room 215 either before school, at 10-minute break, or during the lunch period by Friday to avoid losing computer services and receiving a PH.
- Juniors are reminded that tomorrow will be the deadline for formal approval of any service projects not in the Service Directory. See Mr. Delatte immediately if you wish to perform a service project not in the service directory.
- Tomorrow will be another Fresh Kicks Friday. Amongst homerooms that were rewarded Fresh Kicks last week, the threshold for a second Fresh Kicks Friday will be $350. For those homerooms yet to reach $200, you will be granted a Fresh Kicks holiday tomorrow should you reach $200 by today. Money should be turned in to the box in the lounge. Rules for Fresh Kicks Friday will be the same as last week. See Mr. Delatte if you have any questions regarding this.
- The first round of the FIFA tournament will begin today. All games will be played during lunch. You must be present within 5 minutes of your game’s start time or you will forfeit and your team will be eliminated. Check your Canvas Messages if you’re unsure of your team. Today’s games during the first half of lunch are Atletico vs. LA Galaxy and Tottenham vs. Newcastle, and during the second half of lunch Juventus will face West Ham and Leipzig will play Villa Real. Tomorrow’s games during the first half of lunch are FC Barcelona vs. Crystal Palace and Chelsea vs Aston Villa, and during the second half of lunch Manchester United will face Roma and Arsenal will play AC Milan.
- A candidacy meeting for students running for House Prefect or Class President will be held today during the first half of lunch in Room 231.
- There will be a training session for readers and servers at next week’s Stations of the Cross today during the first half of lunch in the 3rd floor chapel.
- The Society of St. Joseph will meet for a guided discussion by Dr. Delio today during the first half of lunch in Room 120.
- Prefreshman who chose art for their fine arts requirement must meet today during the first half of lunch in St.Ignatius Hall.
- Freshman who chose art for their fine arts requirement must meet tomorrow during the first half of lunch in St. Ignatius Hall.
- The Pro-Life club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 316.
- The golf team will face Holy Cross this afternoon at Bayou Oaks starting at 4:00.
- The varsity baseball team will face John Curtis tonight at Harahan with first pitch set for 6:30.
- The 9th grade baseball team will host John Curtis at John Ryan Stadium this afternoon starting at 4:00.
- Next week is Vocations Week. Our Vocations Promoter, Fr. Juan Ruiz, SJ, will be on campus April 7-11 to spend time with students and share about discernment.
