Regular Order, Day 7

  • Vote for your next House Prefect or Class President today on Canvas. Polls close at the end of lunch. 
  • The Philelectic Society proudly presents Disney’s Newsies—opening this Thursday through Saturday at 7 PM, with a matinee on Saturday at 2 PM in the auditorium. Students, bring your school ID to the show and receive two free tickets. Look for the separate student line when you arrive. Hot dogs, soft pretzels, and other treats will be sold at intermission. Come support your classmates and enjoy a night of incredible storytelling. 
  • Fr. Juan Ruiz will be in the Commons today during lunch to answer all of your questions about Jesuit life and the priesthood. Rewards will be given out to students who ask Fr. Ruiz a question.
  • The second round of the FIFA tournament will begin today. During the first half of lunch, LA Galaxy will face Man City while Newcastle takes on Dortmund. And in the second half of lunch it’s Juventus vs. Napoli and Villa Real vs. Everton. 
  • Students who signed up to donate blood on Thursday must turn in permission slips tomorrow. Bring them to Mrs. Tassin in Room 317. Students can still sign up before Thursday. 
  • Second-notice printing fees for March have been sent to students’ Outlook accounts and portal. Please pay your fees in Room 215 before school, during 10-minute break, or at the lunch hour before Wednesday, April 9 to avoid receiving a PH and losing computer services.
  • Mu Alpha Theta Juniors that are interested in running for an office for the 2025-2026 school year will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 227. If you cannot attend for any reason but are interested in running, email Mrs. Brauner by the end of the school day today.
  • The tennis team will face St. Paul’s this afternoon at Stone Creek in Covington starting at 3:30.
  • The golf team will face Brother Martin at Chateau this afternoon starting at 4:00.
  • The varsity baseball team will face Warren Easton tonight at Wesley Barrow with first pitch set for 4:00.
  • The 9th grade baseball team will play at St. Charles Catholic this afternoon starting at 5:00.
  • Acoustic Guitar Club will meet today and tomorrow during the second half of lunch in Room 330.
  • The Jesuit Men of Color will meet tomorrow during lunch in St. Ignatius Hall. 
  • Students recommended for AP US History next year are reminded to turn in their forms to their Western Civ teachers by next Wednesday.
  • The deadline for the Churchill Society Essay Contest has been extended to Easter Sunday. If any student is still interested in participating or would like help with his essay, please see Mr. Trosclair.
  • Juniors are reminded that their Service Contracts are due filled out to Mr. Delatte’s office, Room 127, by Thursday, April 24.
