Regular Order, Day 5

• The varsity baseball team will host Alexandria in Game #1 of the regional round of the playoff series at John Ryan Stadium on Friday night with first pitch set for 6:00 p.m.  Game #2 will be played at John Ryan Stadium starting at 1:00 on Saturday afternoon.  The “if necessary” Game #3 will begin approximately one hour following the completion of Game #2.  Admission for each game is $10.00 each for adults and students (non-participating teams) and $5.00 each for Jesuit and Alexandria students with ID and children (ages 6-11).
• The St. Joseph Society will have a guided discussion by Dr. Delio today during the first half of lunch in Room 120.
• The Spanish Club will take pictures today during first half of lunch on the chapel steps.
• All Quiz Bowl members should meet at the start of lunch today on the chapel steps for the yearbook photo.
• All 8^th and 9th grade students who participated in Math Competitions this year should meet during the second half of lunch today in Room 330 for a yearbook photo.
• The Movie Critics Club will meet today after school in Room 220 to watch Sunset Boulevard, a classic film in which a desperate screenwriter becomes entangled with an old movie star who may be dangerous.
• The varsity track and field team will compete in the District 9-5A championship meet this afternoon and evening at Tad Gormley.  Field events begin at 4:00,  while the running events start at 5:30.
• The Creative Writing Club will meet tomorrow during the first half of lunch in Room 116.
• Juniors are reminded that their Service Contracts are due filled out today to Mr. Delatte’s office, Room 127.
• Junior Prom will be held tomorrow evening at The Ridgeway of Old Metairie from 8:00-11:00pm. Tickets are $60 and available pre-sale only using GoFan. Purchase online at www.jesuitnola.org/tickets. For further prom information including details on formal attire, consult the Jesuit website.
• Attention Juniors: Applications are now open to serve as a Senior leader on next year’s Kairos retreats. The Evangelization Team will be visiting Theology classes to give you more information, or you can pick up an application from the Campus Ministry office. Please see Mr. Bacon with any questions.
• Juniors, application forms to serve as Eucharistic Ministers next school year were sent to your Canvas inbox. If you are interested in being an EM as a Senior, please print out and complete the attached form and bring it with you to the training session next Thursday, May 1^st during lunch.
• All remaining Mission Drive donations are due by the end of the day on Friday. Please bring any cash/checks to Room 129 or the Campus Ministry office.
• The Final Four is here! 46 teams is now down to four in the intramural basketball March Madness bracket. Today in Benson Arena is the second semi-final game between the senior runners up, Setti’s Clan and the Freshman champions, White Shiesty Elite. The championship game will be on Friday during lunch.
• The first Gizzard Studios halftime performance for the March Madness championship game will be this tomorrow in Benson Arena. The featured performer will be freshman, Joey Cargol. He will be accompanied by freshman AJ Centner.
• Seniors must empty their lockers by the end of Senior Exams.  Remove your lock and take it home.  Seniors taking exams are to come to school wearing uniform pants, uniform belt, tennis shoes, and any appropriate collared shirt.
