Jesuit’s Own “Low Saxes” Play for the Crowds at Lunch in the Courtyard

Amidst the festivities of the Jesuit vs. Holy Cross Football Rivalry, Jesuit hosted its first brown bag concert of the year.  Senior Gui Kirsch, a baritone saxophonist for the Blue Jay Band, organized a few of his fellow saxophonists in the band, calling themselves the “Low Saxes,” to play at lunch on Thursday, October 10, 2013.  The group is composed of seven members, four baritone sax players (The Four Horsemen): senior Gui Kirsch, junior Jason LaHatte, and sophomores Tristan Killgore and Nicholas Fresneda; and three tenor saxophonists (The Three Muskatenors): junior Jared Abrams, sophomore Kyle Rishoux, and freshman Trevor Maggio.  The group plans to play the courtyard again later in the year.
