59 for ’59, a Grand Success
The Class of 1959 is a bit odd. After all, 1959 is an odd number. So, why wait until 2019 to celebrate 60 years since graduating from Jesuit when the class can celebrate 59 for ’59 right now? That’s exactly what the guys from ’59 did this past weekend thanks to the organizational work of Ray Rizzo, Mark Rodi, Jack Dardis, Eddie Rice, Frank Bordelon, and Bill Eastin.

On a beautiful Friday evening, Mark and Sharon Rodi opened the doors of their Metairie home, especially the doors to their spacious yard, for the guys to enjoy a night of reminiscing about their days at Carrollton and Banks. Special guest Fr. Chris Fronk, president of Jesuit High, was a popular man as the ’59ers were anxious to meet the school’s leader.
Saturday evening was dedicated to a couples’ reception at the home of Jack and Anne Dardis. Once again comfortable fall weather lured many party-goers outside for pool-side dining.
Indeed, 59 for ’59 was a grand success . . . even if it were a bit odd.
