Class of 1951 Celebrates Annual Luncheon at SYC

In an annual fall ritual, the Class of 1951 gathered at the Southern Yacht Club on October 19 to celebrate their bond as Blue Jays.

Bill Fleming and Hank Ecuyer were the consummate hosts as they welcomed their classmates and their wives or guests to the lakeside club for a delicious lunchtime meal. After dessert Jesuit’s advancement director Tom Bagwill and alumni director Mat Grau ’68 provided an overview of today’s Jesuit.
The midday event concluded with a group photo and a heartfelt singing of the alma mater. As the ’51ers were leaving, classmates could be heard saying to each other, “See you next year.”
