After completing the first round of District 9-5A play with a perfect 5-0 record, the Jays suffered their first division loss at the hands of the West Jefferson Buccaneers on Tuesday, Jan. 29. Costly turnovers allowed the Bucs to outlast the Blue Jays, 63-56.

The team returns to the court on Friday night, Feb. 1, when they take on Chalmette at 7:00 p.m. in the Birdcage. Prior to tipping off against the Chalmette Owls, Jesuit will recognize seniors Cody Castle, Josh DeBlieux, Matt Felger, Preston Reisig, and Sean Tillery with a special ceremony.
