Day two of the St. Paul’s Holiday tournament was a little different this year as the Jays missed the semifinals. The tournament was not a complete loss as the Jays finished strong with a 4-0 shut-out victory against East Ascension at Hunter Stadium.

In the first half of the match, senior Luke Hahn and sophomore Chase Rushing connected with the back of the net to give the Blue Jays the early 2-0 lead.

In the second half the Jays solidified their victory by tacking on an additional two goals by seniors Evan DeHoog and Mitch Bourgeois.  The Blue Jays return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at John Ryan Stadium against Holy Cross.
