As many winter sports are finishing, baseball is just warming up.
With a talented roster and great coaching, the Jays look good heading into district play. Senior Tripp Haddad said, “Our entire lineup has been producing at the plate and we have a pitching rotation of very competitive guys that really want to win.”
The team has faced many tough early leads by their opponents but has overcome every single one so far. Haddad commented, “We have shown some serious resilience that we’re going to need in our very talented district.”
Junior Luke Brandau also added, “When we get down in games, we don’t panic, and we always find a way to pull it through.”
The Jesuit Baseball team looks strong going into the remainder of the season and is confident that they can compete for a district championship and beyond.
