Third Quarter Exam Schedule

  • Today’s exams are English, Biology 2, Chemistry 2, Computer Studies, and Speech.
  • Students should not be in the hallways during the exam period or between exam periods.  Once you complete your exam you should exit the hallways quietly.  You may remain in the Commons, Resource Center, or the yard during this time.
  • The varsity baseball team begins in the Jay Patterson Shootout this afternoon vs. Denham Springs at Dutchtown with first pitch set for 4:00.
  • The 8th grade baseball team will host Rummel at John Ryan Stadium this afternoon starting at 4:00.
  • The bowling team will face Patrick Taylor at Westside this afternoon starting at 3:20.
  • The golf team will face Holy Cross this afternoon at English Turn starting at 4:00.
  • Printing fee for February are due today.  If you owe money, please pay in Room 215 after exams.
  • Students are reminded to check the list posted in the discipline office regarding outstanding PH’s for the third quarter.  If you are in doubt regarding outstanding PH’s, check to ensure your status.  All remaining PH’s for the third quarter are to be served today following the second exam.
  • PH will be served in the Commons today.

Results:

  • Congratulations to the Lacrosse team for its victory over rival St. Paul’s. The Jays dominated from the opening faceoff in a 16-5 win. Senior attackmen Andrew Brown and Evan Centola each scored 5 goals, and Brown added 4 assists to finish with 9 points. Senior midfielder and jack-of-all-trades Jack Unger scored 4 goals and assisted on 2 others, scooped up 15 ground balls, and went 16 for 21 at the face-off. The JVA squad notched its second victory of the season 5-4. The Varsity Jays travel to Baton Rouge this Friday night to take on the Catholic High Bears. 
  • The varsity bowling team rolled its second consecutive shut out Monday, defeating Crescent City Christian, 27-0.  Junior Luke Wood recorded the high game of the day,  a 234. Also breaking the 200 game-score mark were Gary Sims, Ben Hunn, Will Adams, Will Carpenter, and Brandon Griffin. The Jays are 7-1.
