Mass Day Order, Day 5

• Peer support will meet today during the first half of lunch in the auditorium. All members should be in attendance to prepare for 2nd quarter presentations.
• All 8th graders should meet today during the second half of lunch in the auditorium.
• The Anime Club will meet today after school in Room 121.
• The 9^th grade football team will face De La Salle this afternoon at Pontiff Playground starting at 4:15.
• The Video Games Club will meet tomorrow after school in Room 120.
• Attention regarding PHs:  Moving forward, the stakes are now higher.  Grooming and Uniform Standards violations that repeat within a 10-day period will automatically be converted to 3-day PH responsibility by Coach Songy.  All students have been given enough time to handle these issues…avoid PH by simply doing the right thing.

Results:

• Congratulations to the Varsity Football Team as the Jays were victorious winning 42-13 this past Saturday at Joe Yenni Stadium.  Offensively, the Jays were ground and pound as they rushed for 249 yards led by Junior Running Backs Jerron Duplessis and Harry Rheinhart who chipped in 101 and 60 yards, respectively.  Senior Quarterback Jack Larrivierre had 2 rushing touchdowns and threw for two more, one a 40 yarder to Junior Receiver Jace Larsen and another to Junior Tight End Hollis McDaniel for a 10 yard  score.   Rheinhart and Senior Quarterback Liam Parenton also had rushing touchdowns to round out the scoring.  Defensively, the Blue Jay front was led by Senior Chris Jackson who had a key sack and a forced fumble. Senior Safety Will Graham had an interception and several big hits to lead the back end of the Blue Jay defense.
