Special Order, Day 3
- Check out the latest episode of the Ten Minute Break podcast. Junior Roland Waguespack joins the discussion to give his advice on how to get a homecoming date, thoughts on the communion of saints, and his “keys to the game” for Jesuit vs. Rummel. Available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
- The varsity football team will close out the regular season on Friday night hosting Rummel at Tad Gormley with kickoff set for 7:00. Pre-sale tickets are $8.00 each for adults and students (non-participating teams) and $5.00 each for children (ages 6-11). Pre-sale tickets are available for purchase through Friday at the switchboard from 7:30-3:30. Both student and faculty ID’s, as well as season passes will be accepted at the gate for admission.
- Friday will be a Blue and White Day. Wear a blue, white, or blue and white collared shirt or a Jesuit imprinted t-shirt on Friday to show your Blue Jay Spirit.
- The Homecoming Dance will take place on campus this Saturday, Nov. 6, from 7:00 – 10:30 pm. Attire is coat and tie. Tickets are $40 per couple and can be purchased at the Student Council Office (Room 113) before school, during lunch, and after school today through Friday.
- The Movie Critics Club will meet tomorrow after school in Room 220 to watch The Sting, the only con-man caper movie to win the Best Picture Oscar.
- 8th grade basketball tryouts begin Friday after school in the gym. Students must turn in all LHSAA forms in order to try out. See Coach Murphy in Room 225 with any questions.
- Freshmen who participated in a Fall sport and are interested in trying out for the Basketball Team will have the opportunity on Friday after school in the gym. Please see Coach Eckholdt in the Guidance Office with any questions.
- There is no PH today. PHs written Tuesday should be served on Thursday.
- Moving forward, PHs will be served on the day they are supposed to be served. There will be no arrangements made for serving the PH early.
- The Discipline Office is full of items in the lost and found. If you lost something there is a good chance we have it. Stop by soon before things get thrown out.
- Coach’s Comment: The great things that come with being a Blue Jay are made possible through the small actions we choose to take every day. Take pride in doing the little things and the big things will fall into place.
