Senior co-captain Gary Sims averaged 233 over three games to lead the Blue Jay bowling team to a 26-1 win over Archbishop Rummel. The match took place at AMF All Star Lanes in Kenner on Thursday, Jan. 13.

Simms rolled games of 234, 209, and 257. Co-captain Luke Wood posted a 628 set that included games of 222 and 215. Others breaking the 200-pin mark were senior Josh Barraza (247), junior Will Adams (235), senior Colin Pearce (209), and junior Will Carpenter (200).

The Jays are now 2-0. They’ll face Pearl River on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022, at Bowl USA in Slidell.
