Coming off a tough loss to the Rummel Raiders on Tuesday night, the Jesuit basketball team rebounded to defeat the Brother Martin Crusaders by the score of 55-48.

Senior Riley Conroy and junior Trey Laforge each had 13 points. Junior Foster Moreau added 11 with numerous blocks on the defensive side of the court. Senior Grant Nichols put in 10 points to go along with eight rebounds. Brett Spansel chipped in with eight points.

Fans were delighted to see a special guest in the gym, former Saints player and local celebrity Steve Gleason, who brought his family to watch the Blue Jays.

The Jays’ record now stands at 3-4 in district play. They will next play Holy Cross on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at the Birdcage. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. Follow game action live at Twitter.com/bluejay_hoops.
