Jesuit’s Philelectic Society hosted a musical theater workshop for children with the Children’s Miracle League (CML) on Friday, Feb. 7 in the auditorium. About a dozen  Phils volunteered their time to work with their new buddies on the Jesuit stage.

The special guests learned three songs with choreography from Phils director Mrs. Kate Arthurs-Goldberg and then performed the selections under the lights with applause from family and friends. Mr. D.J. Galiano ’07 and junior Ethan Martinez provided technical assistance. The session, which included a special appearance by Jayson, ended with a king cake social in the auditorium foyer.

The event was coordinated by junior Connor Hill, whose older sister, Emily, is a member of CML.

“I am comforted when I see our students serving others and reaching out to the broader community,” said Jesuit president Fr. Raymond Fitzgerald ’76.
