Blue Jays Making a Global Impact: Jake Daigle ’02 on Agrihoods
As one of countless Blue Jay alumni making a global impact, Jake Daigle ’02 explains how “agrihoods” help the environment, society, and human health.
“We’ve built SOMO Village as an agrihood,” wrote Daigle about his California-based project. “It’s a core component of our mission and vision for the community…. as far as human health is concerned, healthier soil produces healthier food which in turn nourishes healthier people. And societally, the significance of keeping culture in agriculture can’t be overstated.”
