Jesuit bowling easily defeated Chalmette 25-2 on Monday, Feb. 24. Even though the Blue Jays took the win, they performed well under their expectations. The average pin count in this match was 949, which is a drop of over 200 pins from prior performances. Luckily, this is not the team’s standard.

A few Blue Jays scored 200 games to continue the team’s winning streak. Sophomore Peyton Hidalgo lead with a high score of 238, senior Chris Totaro followed with a 209. Senior Andrew Prejean contributed a 204, and junior Ben Ainsworth a 203.

The team will practice on Wednesday to get back to form. The Jays (8-0) will next compete against Holy Rosary in a district match on Thursday, Feb. 27.
