Regular Order, Day 1
- Welcome Week training continues today during lunch in the courtyard. The Turtles will be training your accuracy with ax throwing and sending Shredder’s minions to the sewer in the dunk tank. Turtle Power!
- All students interested in joining the state championship wrestling team, including those currently playing a fall sport, should meet either today or Thursday during the second half of lunch in Room 112. See Coach Orillion or Coach Firmin if you cannot make one of the meetings.
- The 9th grade football team will play at St. Paul’s this evening starting at 5:30. The junior varsity game follows at 6:45.
- Sodality will meet tomorrow during lunch in St. Ignatius Hall. Bring $5 for pizza.
- The St. John Berchmans Alter Serving Society will meet tomorrow morning at 7:15 in the 3rd floor chapel. New servers welcome.
- The Marine Corps Junior ROTC will cook jambalaya tomorrow during lunch for all Marine Corps Junior ROTC cadets and perspective cadets. Students interested in the Marine Corps Junior ROTC Program should stop by and enjoy Master Gunn’s famous jambalaya.
- The Jesuit Philelectic Society, the oldest co-curricular at Jesuit, will host a meeting for current Phils, parents, and any interested new student actors, artists, singers, dancers, makers, and theatre techs Thursday evening at 6:30 in the auditorium.
- Returning members of the Blue Jay Newspaper staff will meet today during the second half of lunch in the Student Life Conference room.
- The varsity football team will open its season on Friday night at Slidell with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m. All tickets for adults, students, and children are $10.00 each and must be purchased online. The link is on the Jesuit website. Note that student ID’s and season passes will not be accepted at the gate for this non-district contest.
- All seniors that currently have not submitted 100 hours and had them approved via MobileServe must attend a mandatory meeting today during the first half of lunch in St. Ignatius Hall. If you are not sure whether you must attend this meeting, please see Mr. Delatte.
