Regular Order, Day 2

  • Today we will follow an Assembly Order #2 for a Guidance Assembly. All 8th, 9th, and 10th graders will report to the Benson Arena after 4th period. All juniors will attend a College Counseling presentation, and seniors will have Ring Mass rehearsal in Auditorium.
  • The varsity football team will host Jesuit Dallas in the season opener this evening at Tad Gormley Stadium with kickoff set for 6:00 p.m.
  • The cross country team will open its season on Saturday competing in the St. Michael the Archangel Invitational at Highland Park in Baton Rouge.
  • Students interested in participating in the Bowling Club should meet today during lunch in Room 117. All skill levels welcome.
  • Prefreshmen interested in trying out for the 8th Grade Basketball team should meet today during the first half of lunch in the Benson Arena.
  • All 9th and 10th graders interested in playing basketball should must meet tomorrow in the Benson Arena.
  • Returning National Honor Society members will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 221.
  • The Anime Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 116.
  • The Classic Rock Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 203.
  • Today is the deadline to register a flag football team for all freshmen and sophomores.
  • All flag football team captains will meet today during the first half of lunch in CL3.
  • An admissions representative from Spring Hill College will be available today during lunch in the College Counseling Suite.
  • Students, be aware that the Discipline Office now prints replacement Student IDs.  Beginning Monday, only Jesuit issued Student IDs with a photo can be used to purchase food items.  The cost for a replacement ID is $10.
  • The Jesuit Medical Society is hosting the annual Fall Blood Drive on Tuesday, Sept. 16. Students 16 years and older can sign up to donate. Donating blood not only saves lives, but students also can get a free T shirt and free tickets to the Mortuary. Representatives from the Medical Society will be visiting homerooms to sign you up or you can sign up with Mrs. Tassin in Room 315.
