Regular Order, Day 2
- The varsity football team will face Brother Martin in the district opener tomorrow night at Tad Gormley with kickoff set for 7:00. Pre-sale tickets are $10.00 each for adults and non-Jesuit students and $5.00 each for children (ages 6-11). Pre-sale tickets are available for purchase daily at the front desk until 3:30 p.m. Both student and faculty ID’s will be accepted at the gate. Tickets purchased at the gate are $15.00 each.
- Tomorrow will be a Blue and White Day. Wear a blue, white, or blue and white collared shirt or a Jesuit imprinted t-shirt on tomorrow to show your Blue Jay Spirit.
- Balfour will be on campus today during lunch in the auditorium to take graduation announcement orders.
- The Sportsmen’s club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 112.
- The Ultimate Frisbee team will scrimmage today during the second half of lunch on Will Clark Field.
- The Pro-Life Club will meet today during the whole lunch period in Room 316. All are welcome to bring their lunch and learn “Pro-Life 101” from Nicky Orozco of Louisiana Right to Life.
- Will injuries doom the promising start of the Saints season? Discuss this and more in today’s Sports Analysis Club during the second half of lunch in Room 231.
- The Investment Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 334.
- IKON will meet this afternoon from 5:00-7:00 in the Madonna Della Strada Conference Room to discuss the “Rise and Fall of Liberalism.” Food will be provided.
- The Paintball Club will host the club’s first outing of the year this on Saturday at NOLA Paintball. Permission forms are available in the ROTC office and are due tomorrow. See Master Gunnery Sergeant Piseno with any questions.
- The golf team will face Fisher this afternoon at English Turn starting at 4:00.
- The 9th grade football team will face Brother Martin this afternoon at tad Gormley starting at 4:00.
- The 8th grade football team will host Brother Martin this afternoon at John Ryan Stadium starting at 5:30.
- The Basketball team will hold tryouts for 9th and 10th graders on October 1, 2, 3, 5 and 7. In order to tryout, students must turn in the proper paperwork and get a physical. Paperwork can be turned into Coach Jennings or Coach Templet.
- Permission slips to donate blood are due by Friday to Mrs. Tassin in Room 317. It’s not too late to sign up to donate.
- All members of Xavier House are invited to its first House Mass on Monday, Sept. 30, at 7:15 in the second floor chapel.
- An admissions representative from Fordham University will be available today during lunch in the College Counseling suite.
