Senior Salvatore Esola earned a superscore of 36 on the ACT®, a national standardized measure of college readiness. Esola is an alumnus of Stuart Hall and is the son of Louise Marie and David Esola. The ACT® consists of tests in English, mathematics, reading and science, each scored on a scale of 1–36.

Esola is actively involved in several academic clubs. He is a member of Mu Alpha Theta, participating in mathematics competitions and consistently demonstrating his skills. Notably, he secured first place in the Geometry Division Gemini event as part of a two-person team at the 2022 State Convention. He is also part of the Academic Rally Team, having earned top placements in district and state-level competitions in biology and chemistry. Additionally, he contributes to Peer Support and is a member of the National Honor Society and Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica.

Esola’s dedication to service is further exemplified by his volunteer work. At Lincoln Beach Restoration, he participated in cleanup efforts to maintain the natural beauty of the beach and surrounding areas. His summer at Hotel Hope saw him assisting single mothers and their children by moving furniture, setting up newly renovated rooms, and maintaining public areas.

Looking to the future, Esola aspires to study medicine in college and pursue a career as a doctor.

Above all, Jesuit relentlessly pursues God’s greater glory. While students’ academic accolades reflect the school’s mission, they are not the mission itself. They instead signify that Blue Jays are becoming the men that they were made to be: men of faith and men for others.

Alongside celebrating students who attain these academic accomplishments, Jesuit also highlights graduating seniors who are named winners of highly selective merit-based national scholarship competitions. Click here to read about more of these students.
