Assembly Order #3, Day 1
- The Classic Rock Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 203.
- 8th graders, there will be house vs. house flag football games today during the first half of lunch Will Clark Field. All students are welcome to play or support your house.
- The Anime Club will meet today during all of lunch in Room 116 to watch My Deer Friend Nokotan.
- The varsity football team will face Brother Martin in the district opener tonight at Tad Gormley with kickoff set for 7:00.
- The swimming team will compete in the Crawfish Invitational in Baton Rouge on Saturday.
- The varsity, jv, and jr. high cross country teams will compete in the Mt. Carmel Invitational at City Park on Saturday morning.
- The jv football team will host Brother Martin on Saturday morning at John Ryan Stadium starting at 10:00 a.m.
- All members of Xavier House are invited to its first House Mass on Monday morning at 7:15 in the second floor chapel.
- Students interested in trying out for Jesuit’s 8th, 9th, JV, or Varsity soccer teams should attend a sign up meeting Tuesday during the first half of lunch in the Auditorium.
- If you are signed up to donate blood on Monday please bring a cell phone with you to your appointment if possible in order to complete some portions of the registration form.
- Homecoming Court Nomination Forms for Seniors are due on or before school Monday. The form can be found on Canvas. See Mr. Genovese in the Guidance Office with questions.
Results:
- Congratulations to the Jesuit golf team on their 161-171 victory over Holy Cross at English turn country club. The low round of the match was fired by Junior William Boasberg who carded a 2 over par 38.
- This week, the Academic Games team participated in the New Orleans League Propaganda tournament, where they achieved outstanding results. The team, consisting of Yousef Fallaha, Cruz Ledet, Grady Miles, Thatcher Slaughter, and James Wever, secured 1st place in the team competition. James Wever also earned individual honors, placing 1st in the junior high division.
