Regular Order, Day 6
- The varsity football team will face St. Augustine on Saturday night at Tad Gormley with kickoff set for 7:00. Pre-sale tickets are $10.00 each for adults and non-Jesuit students and $5.00 each for children (ages 6-11). Tickets are available for purchase through Friday until 3:30 p.m. All adult and student tickets purchased at the gate are $15.00 each. Both student and faculty ID’s as well as season passes will be accepted at the gate.
- The Evangelization Office is looking for Junior and Senior volunteers to help lead the Freshman Retreat next Thursday. A sign-up link has been sent to your Canvas messages. Please see Ms. Laurenzano, Mr. Symmes, or Mr. Bacon with any questions.
- Student Council will host a PSAT Prep Rally today during the second half of lunch in the courtyard.
- The Creative Writing Club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 116.
- Jesuit’s SABR Club, Society of American Baseball Research, will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 331. As the postseason continues, come discuss MLB post season and learn more history and research about America’s pastime.
- The Ultimate Frisbee team will play today during the second half of lunch on Will Clark Field
- The Pro-Life Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 316.
- All students interested in attending the March for Life in Washington, DC, should see Mrs. DeBoisblanc or Mr. Delatte as soon as possible to pick up a registration form.
- Join IKON tonight for food and formation. We will be talking about Plato’s Republic, faith, and politics. The seminar meets from 5-7 in the Madonna Della Strada Conference Room.
- The golf team will face Holy Cross this afternoon at City Park at 4:00.
- Students who are not enrolled in an AP Class but would still like to take an AP Exam, need to see Mrs. Yelton this week in College Counseling for more information.
- Seniors: Transcript Request Forms for college applications that have deadlines between Oct. 16 and Nov. 15 were due on Monday. Get your forms in today to ensure your materials reach the intended university by their posted deadlines. See your college counselor with questions.
- Seniors are reminded that their Service Project Reflections will take place immediately after their last scheduled exam on Wednesday. Please consult rosters located in homeroom in order to know your time and location for your reflection. All seniors that have completed their 100 hours and service essay are expected to be there. Please see Mr. Delatte if you have any questions.
- Seniors who need math help for the October act should see Mr. Lavie in Room 334. Class begins next week.
- Second-notice printing fees for September have been sent to students’ Outlook/jesuitnola.org accounts—not Canvas messaging. Students with fees must pay in Room 215 either before school, at 10-minute break, or during the lunch hour before the end of the lunch hour on Friday, Oct. 11 to avoid an interruption in computer services and receiving a PH.
