With its festive Halloween theme, “Jayson’s Halloween Havoc,” Jesuit’s annual Celebration Auction & Gala, presented by Ryan Gootee General Contractors, was a resounding success at The Cannery. The event attracted parents, alumni, faculty, and friends of Jesuit.

Guests were welcomed by a blue and white balloon arch from Luftballoons set inside a fog-filled cemetery. Many attendees, dressed in costumes, enjoyed the spooky Halloween-themed decorations and lively music by Dat Band. Culinary offerings from local restaurants and a specialty drink enhanced the evening’s experience. A preview of the auction items featured highlights such as local artist artwork, elegant jewelry, various hotel and vacation stays, and gift cards from local restaurant and boutiques.

Event chairs Mary Larson, Michelle Lyon, and Mandy Romig, along with auction chairs Sara Gootee and Colleen Peterman, worked diligently to organize a successful event. Special thanks are extended to all committee chairs and members for their appreciated efforts.

Decorations were coordinated by Meg Jennings, Missy Martin, and Gabby Thompson, while Sarah Ehrensing, Elizabeth Juge, and Stacey LaCour secured sponsorships. Food and beverages were procured by Jessica Hughes, Rolanda Martinez, Jenn Serio, Kelly Uddo, and Golda Hartman. Guest were also invited to particpate in the axe-throwing game, coordinated by Cherie Albro and Christine Maristany.

Exciting raffle opportunities contributed to the event’s success, with prizes including citrine and diamond earrings donated by Adler’s, a $500 Southwest Airlines gift card, and themed raffles “Jayson’s Pumpkin Spooktacular” and “Eat, Drink & Be Scary,” which included gift cards from local restaurants and businesses. The raffles were coordinated by Wendy Cooper and Rachel Mollere.

Special thanks to all committee members, sponsors, raffle sponsors, in-kind donors who contributed to making this year’s Celebration a success.
