- The Philelectic Society’s production of The World Goes ‘Round runs tonight through Saturday evening. Each Jesuit student can redeem up to two complimentary tickets to any one performance. To get yours, download the GoFan app, select “Student Tickets,” and enter your Jesuit student ID in the promo code field. This is a show you don’t want to miss, so grab your tickets and enjoy an amazing night at the theater.
- The varsity football team will host Lafayette High in the opening round of the state playoffs tomorrow night at The Shrine with kickoff set for 7:00. Pre-sale tickets are $10.00 each for adults and students and $5.00 each for children (ages 6-11). Pre-sale tickets will be available for purchase daily at the front desk until 3:30 p.m. Tickets purchased at the gate are $15.00 each. Note that season tickets and student ID’s are not accepted at the gate for LHSAA playoff contests.
- The theme for Friday’s game is jersey out. Wear your favorite sports jersey to the game.
- Friday will be a Blue and White Day. Wear a blue, white, or blue and white collared shirt or a Jesuit imprinted t-shirt on Friday to show your Blue Jay Spirit.
- 4 teams remain standing in the NCAA tournament. Semi-finals are TODAY in the commons during lunch. The semi final games are Tennessee: gianni irula vs USC: Edward Sullivan and Oklahoma: Rex Foti vs Tulane: Will Salter. Remember, the winner of the tournament receives a signed Rasheed Shaheed football and second place gets a 50 dollar Chick-fil-a gift card.
- The Creative Writing Club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 116.
- With the Dodgers crowned as World Series champions, come join Jesuit’s SABR Club today during the first half of lunch in Room 331 to discuss free agency during the major league off-season.
- The Ice Cream Social will meet today during the second half of lunch on the second floor of the Roussell building.
- The Pro-Life Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 316. Mrs. Allison Daigle, CEO of the Women’s New Life Clinic, will be speaking to us about the important work that they do.
- The Jesuit Pro-Life Club’s annual baby shower benefitting the Women’s New Life Center is coming to a close in a week. Please consider donating an item to help women in crisis using the following link.

- The Chess Club and team will meet today after school in Room 311.
- The ultimate frisbee team will practice today after school on Will Clark field.
- The varsity basketball team will face University High of Baton Rouge in the LHSAA Hall of Fame preseason game tonight at St. Paul’s. Tip off is set for 6:00.
- The varsity soccer team will open its season tonight hosting Ocean Springs at Lafreniere starting at 6:00. The jv game follows at 7:30.
- All juniors attending this weekend’s Kairos should report to the Auditorium with their bags immediately after school this afternoon.
- Second-notice printing fees have been sent to students’ Outlook accounts—not Canvas messaging. Students who owe printing fees must pay their debt before the end of the lunch hour on Friday, Nov. 15 to avoid losing computer services and receiving a PH. Payments are accepted in Room 215 before school, during ten-minute break, and at the lunch hour.
- Anyone interested in being on an intramural leadership team to talk about playoffs and potential sports will meet today during the first half of lunch in computer lab 3.
