Lacrosse Crispy With the Rock In Season Opener

Following last season’s state championship run, the lacrosse team began its campaign Saturday night with a commanding win. Seniors Alex Barnett and Cole Couvillon each recorded hat tricks, while junior Max Sutherlin added two additional goals. Blake Couvillon, Adam Talbot, Coleman Edwards and Jackson Anders each contributed with one goal apiece.
On defense, Tavo Rivera, Brighton Penado, and Austin Indest provided a lockdown performance. In the cage, goalie Henry Aucoin registered 14 saves to help secure the victory.
The team looks to build on this strong start as it prepares to face the Bears from Catholic High in Baton Rouge on Saturday, February 22 at 5:30 p.m. With both offense and defense in sync, Jesuit aims to carry forward the momentum from last season.
