Bowling Returns with Depth & Experience

Bowling is off to a stellar start in its 10th season under the leadership of head coach Todd Bourgeois ’88. With a roster of ten members, including eight seniors, the team has already secured a 4-0 record in the early stages of the season. Victories over Thibodaux, Destrehan, Hahnville, and Rummel have set a promising tone for the year.
The team’s senior lineup, featuring Joseph Anderson, Beau Button, Joseph Chempakasseril, Jonathan Cho, Caleb Lee, Jack Lousteau, James Ralph, and Nicholas Womble, brings considerable experience and skill to the lanes. Junior Nicholas Gehring and sophomore Jacob Rudloff round out the team, contributing to its depth and versatility.
Seniors Anderson, Cho, and Womble, and junior Gehring, each bring an impressive bowling average over 200. Currently, Cho leads with an average of 229, followed by Gehring at 208, Anderson at 203, and Womble at 201. Their consistent performance is expected to drive the team toward a deep playoff run.
“The focus this season has been on enhancing the mental aspects of the game, preparing players not only for physical competition but also for managing distractions and setbacks. The team’s rigorous weekly training sessions have prepared them well for the challenges ahead.” – Todd Bourgeois
