Regular Order, Day 4

• Big Brothers are needed for Welcome Day.  All current sophomores and juniors are encouraged to sign up, check your canvas messages for the Welcome Day link sent from Coach Firmin.  Seniors are also needed to sign up to help at Welcome Day. This is the first opportunity to get signed up to help us welcome the incoming students on Saturday, March 22.  Big Brothers will be given a first edition Jesuit Gizzard shirt and will be fed lunch.  See Coach Firmin or Coach Hernandez for more details.  
• Mission Drive Bracket Challenge! 🏀 Get ready to test your basketball knowledge and support a great cause with our March Madness Mission Drive Bracket Challenge! Brackets are $10 each, and you can sign up in the Commons Before school, during 10-minute break and during lunch. Sign-ups are open today through Tuesday of next week, so don’t miss your chance to participate! Fill out your bracket, compete for bragging rights, and help make a difference. Over $100 in prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers. Join the madness, sign up today! 
• All basketball, soccer, powerlifting, and wrestling lettermen are expected to report to the weight room today during the lunch period for lettermen jacket measurements and stripe and logo distribution.
• The Creative Writing Club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 116.
• The St. Joseph Society will be having a guided discussion today during the first half of lunch in Room 120.
• Acoustic Guitar Club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 330.
• Students attending Mu Alpha Theta State Convention will practice today during the second half of lunch in Rooms 223, 227, 229, 231, and 330.
• What is Mickey Loomis doing? Discuss NFL Free Agency and more at today’s Sports Analysis Club during the second half of lunch in Room 228. 
• The bowling team will face Brother Martin this afternoon at Bowlero starting at 3:20.
• The tennis team will face Ben Franklin this afternoon at UNO starting at 4:00.
• The golf team will face St. Augustine this afternoon at Bartholomew starting at 4:00.
• The jv baseball team will play at Belle Chasse this afternoon starting at 5:00.
• Students interested in participating in the Churchill Society of New Orleans high school essay contest have less than a month to submit an essay. For more information, see Mr. Trosclair in the Social Studies Office (Room 205).
• Juniors are reminded that they must complete their Service Project Update Survey by the end of the day today.
• March printing fees have been sent to students’ Outlook accounts and portal. Please pay your fees by Tuesday, March 18 in Room 213 either before school, during 10-minute break, or at the lunch hour to avoid losing computer services and receiving a PH.
• On Friday, March 21, Pre-freshmen and Freshmen will take the PSAT 8/9. Pre-freshmen will report to school that day no later than 7:45 a.m. They will begin testing at 8:00 a.m. and end between 10:45 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Freshmen will report to school that day no later 12:15 p.m. Freshmen will begin testing at 12:30 and end between 3:15 and 3:45. Room assignments as well as information on what to bring and not bring on PSAT day will be posted in Announcements on the Guidance Canvas page.
