Regular Order, Day 6

  • The Fishing club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 313. 
  • Sodality will meet today during the second half of lunch. Seniors will meet in the Student Life Conference Room, Juniors in Room 121, Sophomores in Room 120, and Freshmen in Room 117.
  • Acoustic Guitar Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 330.
  • The Spanish Club will take pictures tomorrow during first half of lunch on the chapel steps.
  • Junior Prom will be held this Friday, April 25, at The Ridgeway of Old Metairie from 8:00-11:00pm. Tickets are $60 and available pre-sale only using GoFan. Purchase online at www.jesuitnola.org/tickets. For further prom information including details on formal attire, consult the Jesuit website.
  • Juniors are reminded that their Service Contracts are due filled out to Mr. Delatte’s office, Room 127, by Thursday.
  • All remaining Mission Drive donations are due by the end of the day on Friday. Please bring any cash/checks to Room 129 or the Campus Ministry office.
  • The Final Four is here! 46 teams is now down to four in the intramural basketball March Madness bracket. Today in Benson Arena is the first semi-final game between the senior team Bourg’s Ballers and the sophomore champions, The Corner Shootas. Tomorrow in Benson Arena is the second semi-final game between the senior runners up, Setti’s Clan and the Freshman champions, White Shiesty Elite. The championship game will be on Friday during lunch.
  • The first Gizzard Studios halftime performance for the March Madness championship game will be this Friday in Benson Arena. The featured performer will be freshman, Joey Cargol. He will be accompanied by freshman AJ Centner

  • Congrats To the Tennis team for winning Regionals IV overall. Singles line 1 Junior Alton Swan made it to the finals, singles line 2 senior Jake Bravo made it to the semifinals, doubles line 1 seniors Leo Congeni and Scott Harper defeated Brother Martin in the finals, Line 2 doubles junior Cody Martinez and senior Andrew Cavallino made it to the semifinals, line 3 doubles senior Gabe Goodson and junior Vitale Stratomskyi made it to the quarterfinals. All 8 regional players qualified for the LA State tennis tournament coming up in Monroe April 28 and 29.
  • Congratulations to the Beach Volleyball Squad for winning their District Championship last week.
  • Congratulations to sophomore golfer Duke Nitcher who is the Division 1, District 4 champion.  Duke shot a 2 under par 70.  The golf team will participate in the state regional tournament at Beau Chene on Monday.
