It was the closest match of the early season, but a win nonetheless.

Jesuit defeated Holy Cross 161-164 on Thursday, Sept. 25, at Lakewood Golf Club.

Junior Carlo Carino and freshman Grayson Glorioso each shot 38 to lead the Jays. Sophomore Sean Donovan posted a 42, while freshman Jack Vollenweider carded a 43 and junior Cameron Kaupp tallied a 46.

The Blue Jays, coached by Owen Seiler ’75 and Sean Hillis, are now 4-0, chalking up wins over Holy Cross, Chalmette, Brother Martin, and Shaw — a match won by forfeit.

The Jays return to action on Thursday, Oct. 2, against Archbishop Rummel at Lakewood.
