Jesuit and St. Thomas More Game Will Be Streamed Live on WRBH Radio

The Jays hit the road to Lafayette on Friday to play #3 seed St. Thomas More. Fans will be able to listen to the game live on the website of radio station WRBH (88.3 FM). website.

Round 2 of the LHSAA 5A state football playoffs has the #6-seeded Jesuit Blue Jays traveling to Lafayette this Friday to take on the #3-seeded St. Thomas More Cougars.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Cougar Stadium on the school’s campus.

The Jays (9-2) are coming off a strong opening round win against St. Augustine, 42-14. It was the second week in a row that Jesuit beat the Purple Knights. In the last week of the regular season, the Jays topped St. Aug, 34-20. The Cougars (9-1) enter the contest well-rested after earning a first-round bye because of their #3 seed rank. Both teams sport sterling records as the Jays are 8-2 and the Cougars 9-1. The winner advances to the semifinals round on November 28 and will take on the victor of the Teulings Catholic – Archbishop Rummel game.

Ticket Information
Jesuit stopped selling pre-game sale tickets Friday morning. All tickets purchased at the gate are $9. Student IDs and season passes will not be accepted for this playoff game.

The game will be broadcast on WRBH Radio (88.3 FM). Click the “Listen Live” link at the top of the station’s home page. Jesuit alumnus Danny Riehm ’00 will handle play-by-play duties with Joey Latino, the Blue Jays’ assistant athletic director and head baseball coach, providing insightful game analysis. The pre-game show starts at 6:45 p.m. The live audio stream of the game also may be accessed via the athletic schedule of events on the Jesuit website.
