MAΘ Students Score Honors at Ben Franklin Math Tournament
Blue Jays in Mu Alpha Theta scored high marks in geometry and advanced math at the Ben Franklin Math Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 15.
Individual honors were awarded to the following students: freshman David Gravolet, first place in Geometry; freshman Malcolm Sundell, third place in Geometry; junior Steven Sellers, third place in Advanced Math.
Team honors in the Math Bowl competition were awarded to the following: the Geometry team, comprised of freshmen David Gravolet, Malcolm Sundell and Garrett Crumb, finished first; and the Advanced Math team, comprised of juniors Jose Cusco, Kenneth Krizan, Arjun Verma, and Andrew Vuong, finished fourth.
