Blue Jays took top honors in the 27th Annual Jesuit Drill Meet.

Blue Jays took top honors in the 27th Annual Jesuit Drill Meet hosted by the MCJROTC program on Saturday, Jan. 31. About 600 cadets from 20 schools from Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas competed.

The Color Guard, led by senior John Grieco, took first place in both color guard inspection and drill. The Unarmed Drill Team, led by sophomore Noah Griffin, placed third in inspection and first in regulation drill. The Armed Drill Team, led by senior Anthony Taffaro, took first in inspection, second in regulation drill, and first in exhibition drill. In addition, senior Courtlin Dede, earned honors for doing the most pull-ups and achieving the second highest aggregate physical fitness score.
