Senior Brett Lorio led with a 683 series for a victory over Shaw on Feb. 5, 2015.

Jesuit bowling improved its district record to 3-1 with an 18-9 win over Shaw (1-3) on Thursday, Feb. 6 at All Star Lanes in Kenner. Blue Jays posted impressive high scores.

The first game ended in a 4-4 tie with high games scored by seniors Brent Lorio (225) and Ben Ainsworth (215). Jesuit took the second game, 5-3, with a 264 from Lorio and a 247 by senior Jared Ohle. Jesuit clinched the team victory with a 6-2 in game, following 226 games by both junior Peyton Hidalgo and Ainsworth.

Lorio led Jesuit scoring with a 683 series, followed by Hidalgo with a 630 series and Ainsworth with a 621. 

Jesuit will go back to the lanes to face St. Augustine (0-5) on Monday, Feb. 9.
