Grant Glorioso Solidifies Position as One of the State’s Top Golfers at Beau Chene Classic

Junior Grant Glorioso finished second at the Beau Chene High School Classic, solidifying his position as one of the Louisiana’s top high school golfers. The event, which included more than 100 golfers from Louisiana and Mississippi, took place at Beau Chene Country Club in Mandeville on Friday and Saturday, March 20-21.

Glorioso, finished with a two day total of 145, two shots behind Beau Briggs of St. Paul’s. Briggs, a senior, has committed to playing golf at Ole Miss.

The Blue Jay team, consisting of Glorioso; his brother Grayson; Sean Donovan; Carlo Carino; and Nolan Lambert, finished fourth. Catholic High School of Baton Rouge, which placed four golfers in the top ten, defended the tournament’s team title. Madison Central of Mississippi finished second, while West Monroe took third. 

The Blue Jays face Holy Cross on Monday, March 23, and Brother Martin on Thursday, March 26. Both district matches are at Lakewood Golf Club. Tuesday’s three-team match against Shaw and Chalmette has been postponed.
