Class of ’85 Celebrates 30 Years
On the weekend of May 29-30, the Class of 1985 celebrated their 30-year reunion. Glenn Gillen, John Zollinger, Glen Armantrout, and Brian Illg organized three events for the class’s enjoyment. On Friday night the guys and their guests enjoyed a cocktail hour and dinner at Café Reconcile, the Central City restaurant/organization founded by Fr. Harry Tompson to provide life-skills training to at-risk youths. Saturday was dedicated to guys-only events. First the classmates met at Carrollton and Banks for a class Mass in the recently renovated Holy Name chapel. Then the guys enjoyed a reception at Rock ’n’ Bowl before heading to a “lagniappe” event hosted by class member David Brinks at his Gold Mine Saloon.
