LtCol. Tim Huete took a group of cadets to the Chalmette Cemetery on Friday, May 22 to place American flags on gravestones for Memorial Day. Lt. Gen. Richard P. Mills, commander of Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces North, joined the group to pay tribute to deceased veterans. Among those Blue Jays who attended were freshman Donald Barrett, junior Austin Blanchard, freshman Noel Vargas, sophomore Noah Griffin, and pre-freshman Gus Huete.
