More than 120 young alumni representing 15 classes attended a networking night at Rock ‘N’ Bowl. The event took place from 6:30 to 8:00 on Wednesday, Nov. 11.

The idea is the brainchild of Ian Blanchard ’03 and Max Gruenig ’06, who have done incredible jobs keeping their own classes connected to each other and to Jesuit. This was the next logical step for the dynamic duo.

“Every time I turned around guys were moving from group to group, talking about their days at Carrollton & Banks, but also talking about their occupations and the help and support they can provide each other,” said Blanchard. “It was encouraging to see.”

Official class leaders helped spread the word about the event using email and social media.

“Most of our alumni do an outstanding job of bonding as classes, but this concept of cross-class connection moves us into an important new direction,” said alumni director Mat Grau ’68.
