MCJROTC Receives High Marks in Annual Inspection

The Jesuit MCJROTC program received outstanding grades in its annual inspection on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015.

The inspection included a personnel inspection of the entire Cadet Battalion, drill by an unarmed platoon, led by senior Adam Ledet, drill by an armed platoon, led by senior Austin Blanchard, and the Color Guard, led by senior William Waguespack.

The inspection was conducted by the Region 5 Director, Lieutenant Colonel Mark Stroman, and Marines from Marine Forces Reserve Headquarters in Algiers.

One-hundred and ten cadets were inspected.  Five cadets earned perfect scores – freshman James Bragg, senior Dane Castillo, pre-freshman Jacob Lopez, junior Brooks Simons, and senior William Waguespack, and freshman Benjamin Willis.

The Best Inspected Platoon was 2nd Platoon, B Company, led by senior Ben Incaprera, which had an average score of 91.3.
