The Jesuit soccer team chalked up three wins in a row before dropping their fourth and final contest of the weekend in the Mississippi Showcase of Soccer in Laurel.

The Jays mowed down Madison Central (1-0), Bay High (3-0), and St. Stanislaus (2-0) before succumbing to Clinton (1-2).

Senior Chase Rushing scored goals in each of the three wins to lead the Jays with three goals on the weekend. Senior Patrick Rye added two goals, including the team’s lone breakthrough against Clinton. Also scoring over the two-day, four-game stretch were juniors Blake Parenton and Andrew Stahl.

The Jays are now 7-2 on the season. Jesuit returns to action on Wednesday, Dec. 9 for a contest with Bonnabel. Game time is 5:00 p.m. at John Ryan Stadium.
