Jesuit’s MCJROTC held field meets on Thursday, Dec. 10, to reward the cadets for their hard work all semester and give them a break during the lead-up to exams. The cadets had fun competing in an field events including a wood plank walk, stretcher carry, “Dizzy Izzy,” tug-of-war, and egg toss.

The first field meet was between freshmen and pre-freshmen cadets in Platoons A-1, A-2, B-1, and B-2.  The cadets of A-2 placed first in the competition.  During 4th period, the sophomores, juniors, and seniors in A-1, A-2, B-1, B-2, the HQ staff and the Band competed.  The Band, led by seniors Dane Castillo and Tristan Killgore, took top honors

Following the field meet, LtCol. Tim Huete and MGySgt. J.R. Piseno served jambalaya to the hungry cadets for lunch.
