The Blue Jay wrestling team opened the first week of the new year with a convincing 48-19 win over Archbishop Shaw in the Eagles’ home gym on Wednesday, Jan. 6. Nine of 14 Blue Jays came out on top in their weight classes, including five Jesuit grapplers who pinned their opponents.

The Jays return to the mat on Friday, Jan. 15 when they travel to Baton Rouge to participate in the two-day Louisiana Classic.
