Seniors Come Up Big for Soccer Team in Win Over Rummel
Seniors accounted for all three goals and the game’s only assist as Jesuit’s soccer team picked up an important district win at Rummel on Saturday, Dec. 9.
Charles Rice opened up the scoring in the first half with an unassisted effort. Chase Rushing followed that up with an unassisted goal of his own midway through the second half. José Aleman finished things off with a header off an assist from Dillon Fuchs to end the scoring.
Meanwhile, the Jesuit defense and its goalies–both sophomore starter Shane Lanson and senior back-up Charles Glass saw action–didn’t crack, allowing the Jays to post a 3-0 shutout.
Jesuit is now 17-3 on the season. They return to action against Grace King on Wednesday, Jan. 13 at Joe Yenni Stadium. Game time is 7:00.
