Seniors Mitch Capella (113) and Manny Armour (195) Capture Individual State Championships

Jesuit wrestlers gave it their all over the weekend at the 2013 LHSAA State Wrestling Tournament, held at the Pontchartrain Center. The Blue Jays finished second to Brother Martin. Individual championships were picked up by seniors Mitch Capella (113) and Manny Armour (195). Several other Blue Jays finished in the top six in their respective weight classes.

Here are the results of the top five teams (and scores) in Division I: Brother Martin (339), Jesuit (275), Catholic High, Baton Rouge (263.5), St. Paul’s (225), Archbishop Rummel (128).
