Moms Enjoy a Cup at Annual Mothers’ Coffee
Over 200 Blue Jay moms gathered at the home of Liz and Terry Creel on Tuesday, Oct. 18, for Jesuit’s annual Mothers’ Coffee.
The house, beautifully decorated with antiques and Mardi Gras memorabilia, provided the perfect conversation starter for new and veteran moms who mixed and mingled over refreshments. The impressive spread was coordinated by Marc Robért ’04 and included an array of salads, fruit and cheese, roasted vegetables, pasta, sushi, a roast beef carving station, and desserts.
Celebration volunteers were on hand for those wishing to purchase tickets to the “Blue Jays on Broadway” themed gala and auction on Oct. 29 at Mahalia Jackson Theater. In anticipation for next spring, Blue Jay Bazaar volunteers provided moms with additional information on how to get involved. Boutique House volunteers were also at the event selling handmade jewelry and other gifts for moms with lots of school spirit.
Congratulations to all of the mothers of soon-to-be graduating seniors, and many thanks to the Creels for hosting such a wonderful event.
