Running against 37 other teams, including several top teams in the state, the Cross Country team captured 3rd place in the Round Table Run at Highland Park in Baton Rouge on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013. Catholic High and John Curtis took first and second place, respectively, in the tightly contested race.

Senior Liam Fitzgerald and junior Michael Schwing both finished in the top 20. Other top Blue Jay finishers included junior Patrick Lacour, senior Jonathan Blanchard, and junior Matthews Vargas. The cross country team returns to competition on Oct. 5, 2013 once again at Highland Park in the St. Joseph Invitational.
