Wolves Given Two Tries at a Field Goal, Eliciting Howls of Disbelief from the Blue Jays
St. Paul’s kicked a field goal with four seconds remaining to defeat Jesuit, 24-21, in a heart-stopping opening game of the Allstate Sugar Bowl Prep Showcase on Friday, September 13. The winning field goal by the Wolves is already mired in controversy.
The Blue Jays take to the road on Friday, September 20 to play Central High School of Baton Rouge. Kickoff is 7 p.m. with a Blue Jay tailgate party beginning at 5 p.m. outside Wildcat Stadium.
